Laura Johnson

Owner • RMT • M.OMSc Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Laura’s passion for health and wellness has been with her, her entire life.  A competitive soccer player from early on, and a college level volleyball player made her no stranger to injuries.  Being a part of a team to achieve a common goal has led her to pursue a lifelong commitment of helping others achieve their goals; freedom of pain or restricted movement and improve quality of life.

Having studied Anatomy and Physiology since 2001 has helped shape her dynamic and specialized approach to helping people through manual therapies-Massage Therapy and Osteopathic Manual Therapy.

She aligns her beliefs with Classical Osteopathy in that the body is designed to self heal and self regulate.  Sometimes however, the body just needs a bit of (manual therapy) help to remove soft tissue or hard tissue restrictions that may be impeding the body’s natural ability to self heal/ self regulate.

Since returning to the Niagara Region in 2007 and taking over the Fonthill Masasge Therapy Clinic in 2009 Laura has worked hard to establish a team of like minded and extremely talented therapists, in order to best help people regain freedom from pain, limited range of motion and most importantly improve their quality of life.

“The answers to any dysfunction are all there in the anatomy.  Understanding the relationships between structure and function are what separates good therapists from great therapists.  Anyone can deliver a technique.”
