Anti-Inflammatory

This plan is designed for those with inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, autoimmune disorders, blood sugar issues and hormone imbalances. However, anyone can benefit from following an anti-inflammatory diet.

If you are having any of these issues:

  • joint pain

  • stomach pain

  • stress

  • poor diet habits

  • headaches

Then this meal plan might be for you

Dairy-Free

Many people are lactose intolerant. Some people are not aware they are intolerant of dairy - they just assume that their digestive issues are “normal” because that's all they know.

Continuing to eat foods you are allergic or intolerant of can have negative long term effects.

People from certain cultures may be more prone to lactose intolerance than others. For example, Asian cultures tend to have a higher prevalence of lactose intolerance because dairy historically wasn't a key ingredient in traditional foods, so a lack of the correct digestive enzymes may be to blame.

Dairy can be high in hormones causing symptoms and hormone-related health issues like

  • estrogen dominance

  • endometriosis

  • infertility

  • polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

If you are suffering from any of these issues then this menu might be for you.

Gluten-Free

Gluten initiates an intense inflammatory response to those with celiac disease that can damage the intestinal lining.

Many people are gluten intolerant. This protein can cause:

  • pain and inflammation in the joints

  • bloating/inflammation in the intestine

  • hives on the skin.

One theory for the growing number of people with gluten intolerance is that our wheat plants have been modified for growing demand and current agricultural trends.

Many foods that contain gluten have a spiking effect on blood sugar and insulin, making them less than ideal for people with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes.

Research shows that a gluten-free diet can be beneficial to balancing thyroid hormones leaving you feeling more balanced with your moods and in your gut.

If you are having any of these issues, then this menu might be for you.

Keto

A ketogenic lifestyle has been shown in studies to be helpful for a wide array of health issues including

  • type 2 diabetes

  • polycystic ovarian syndrome

  • infertility

  • dementia

  • Alzheimer's disease

  • metabolic disorder

  • arthritis

  • chronic pain/inflammation

  • mental health issues like anxiety and depression.

A ketogenic diet is a moderate protein, high fat and low carbohydrate diet, helping the body tap into it’s own fat stores for energy rather than relying on carbohydrates in the diet, This state of fat burning is called ketosis

A ketogenic diet can be tough to maintain but with a strong mindset and our great meal plan, the health benefits are worth it.
